Heatbit unveiled Bitwater, an electric water heater element fitted with 20 Bitcoin mining chips that screws into existing 30- to 80-gallon tanks in the United States and Canada. It delivers up to 34 TH/s while consuming as much as 600 watts, with no fans or noise because the water cools the chips. Preorders for the first production run cost $899, while later batches will be priced at up to $1,299 and are due to ship in the first quarter of 2027. At full power, the element would generate about $1.25 in Bitcoin per day, or roughly $455 per year at the current hashprice, although earnings will fluctuate with Bitcoin’s price and network difficulty.
