CME Group reported record quarterly revenue of $1.7373 billion on October 21, up approximately 13% from a year earlier, compared with $1.5376 billion in the prior-year period. Average daily volume reached about 29.4 million contracts, while market-data revenue amounted to $243 million. These figures cover the operator’s entire business and do not isolate the contribution of cryptocurrencies. CME announced the October 19 launch of Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures, subject to regulatory review, after first-half 2026 crypto futures and options average daily volume of 279,800 contracts, worth $8.3 billion in notional value. The increase in contract count indicates higher activity but does not measure the exposure involved or establish the direction of traders’ market expectations.
