Fhenix says CoFHE, a computation system powered by fully homomorphic encryption, is now available on the Ethereum and Arbitrum mainnets. Its coprocessor allows approved applications to process encrypted data without exposing sensitive values to the wider network. The technology targets private trading, financial positions and decentralized finance applications where public transparency can be a drawback. The initial deployment nevertheless relies on an allowlist of authorized contracts, while open testnets remain available for experimentation. Fhenix also notes that research throughput measurements should not be confused with performance achieved in live production.
