Perceptron, a distributed intelligence infrastructure that powers more than 800,000 contributor nodes worldwide, will migrate to Walrus as its primary storage layer. The decentralized storage will replace existing centralized systems and enable cryptographic verification of data integrity alongside an immutable history. The architecture is intended to reduce egress fees and reliance on opaque cloud pricing models while improving access to real-time and annotated datasets. The migration will also underpin Perceptron’s upcoming Data Questing Platform, where contributors can annotate images, label datasets and submit structured inputs with verifiable authenticity.
