The activation of the fixCleanup3_4_0 corrective amendment on the XRP Ledger has been postponed to November 4 at 14:46 UTC following a one-minute desynchronization among validators. The 14-day voting period was reset after support briefly fell to 26 of the 35 validators, but it has since recovered to 31. The fix closes a theoretical asset-issuance flaw and corrects deposit rounding for future Single Asset Vaults, loan-default handling, and bugs affecting automated markets, non-fungible tokens, and escrow accounts. The planned change is unrelated to a cyberattack and does not affect balances, transaction speed, or fees. XRP remains stable around $1.35 as Franklin Templeton continues buying millions of tokens for its ETF clients.
