Anchorage Digital partners with Securitize to bring federally issued stablecoins to tokenized assets

Anchorage Digital and Securitize have announced a partnership allowing Securitize to mint and redeem stablecoins directly through Anchorage Digital Bank, a federally chartered crypto bank in the US, without relying on third-party intermediaries. This infrastructure enables institutions to access federally supervised digital dollars while benefiting from custody and settlement through a single banking provider. Securitize supports over $4 billion in tokenized assets through partnerships with BlackRock, Apollo, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR and VanEck. Anchorage Digital Bank’s stablecoin ecosystem includes USDtb, issued in partnership with Ethena Labs, and USAâ‚®, developed with Tether. According to Anchorage Digital Bank’s reserve report as of August 31, approximately 99% of USDtb’s $530 million in reserves were held in BlackRock’s BUIDL fund, which is tokenized through Securitize.
