Fidelity’s FCAT published a report on October 16, 2026, titled “The State of Solana: Network Health and Resilience,” giving the Solana blockchain a largely positive assessment. The network had zero mainnet outages over a two-year period and validator vote success reached approximately 99.7% in 2026. Tokenized real-world assets on Solana grew from roughly $1 billion to about $4.4 billion within a year, with stablecoins processing over $2 trillion in volume in Q1 2026. About 8% of SOL is now held by ETFs and digital asset treasuries. The report flags concerns: between 18 and 20 validators control more than one-third of active stake as of Q3 2026, with 40% of stake located in Frankfurt and Amsterdam, creating geographic concentration risk.
