Zakura, a Zcash full node developer, has proposed one-time viewing keys to protect private swaps against future quantum computer attacks. The solution targets swaps via NEAR Intents, where a user’s shielded address is posted on NEAR’s public chain, creating a vulnerability to Shor’s algorithm. Approximately $600 million to $700 million had flowed through this route between May and today. Wallets built on Zakura’s open-source libraries, such as Vizor, will integrate the feature in the coming weeks. ZEC was trading at $1,165 Monday morning, up 3.6% on the day.
