Bitget announced it will discontinue services for some cryptocurrency users in a one-off exercise. Affected users’ funds will remain safe and the platform will continue to operate normally. Users in question will receive notifications via email, in-app messages, and/or push notifications about the next steps and withdrawal arrangements. Users who have not received official notifications can continue using their accounts as usual. A security incident in September had resulted in approximately $388 million being stolen.
