Tesla unveiled a new Roadster on October 15 capable of flight using cold-gas thrusters developed with SpaceX. The vehicle performed a public demonstration at SpaceX’s test site in Texas, climbing an inverted ramp, flipping mid-air, and landing on its wheels. Reservations are open at 50,000 dollars for the Performance version and 250,000 dollars for the Thrust, while the single-seat Rocket with full flight capability remains invite only. Elon Musk announced production will begin in 2028, but the flying version has neither road nor aviation approval. The car boasts a top speed exceeding 230 mph, more than 300 miles of range, and 0-60 mph in under a second.
