The German government plans to form a partnership with Nvidia, according to a report from Handelsblatt. This project builds on a one billion euro investment already underway between Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom, announced on November 4, 2025, which calls for the creation of an Industrial AI Cloud in Munich. Discussions were initiated on June 13, 2025, during a meeting between Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, as part of the High-Tech Agenda and Made for Germany government programs focused on digital sovereignty.
