StandX, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange founded by Aaron Gong, former head of Binance Futures, has announced a gradual shutdown. Since launching its mainnet in November 2025, the platform reached a peak TVL of over $200 million and served more than 237,000 users with zero fund security incidents. Despite these metrics, the company decided to abandon its native token launch following a strategic review of its business and market conditions. Users must close their positions by January 2027 and withdraw assets by January 31, 2027. As compensation, StandX plans to distribute a one-time DUSD airdrop to eligible community members using remaining revenue and team contributions.
