A UK crypto trader identified as “James” was robbed of approximately $800,000 during a violent home invasion in Solihull on December 13, 2025. Three masked men beat him with hammers and forced him, at knifepoint against his pregnant wife, to transfer his digital assets to wallets controlled by the attackers. A fourth individual directed the robbery in real time via a video call. More than nine months after the attack, no suspects have been arrested; a £10,000 reward has been offered by Crimestoppers for information leading to their identification.
