OpenAI announced on October 12, 2026 that it will add 200 more jobs to its European headquarters in Dublin, bringing its total commitment to 450 roles in Ireland. This is the second hiring announcement from the company this year, after the July 2026 plan that foresaw 250 positions over two years. The company currently employs over 120 people in Ireland and plans to relocate to an 88,000 square feet space in the Docklands area by late 2026. This expansion aligns with Ireland’s national AI strategy and reinforces Dublin’s position as a tech hub in Europe.
