Eclair, ACINQ’s Lightning node software, merged two repairs on October 2 and October 5 into its master branch. These fixes close gaps that could allow a node to lose Bitcoin through excessive mining fees during channel funding and splicing. The first repair limits peer-initiated replace-by-fee (RBF) demands when Eclair contributes funds, without any upper bound or fee budget. The second repair verifies rebuilt transactions against a compromised Bitcoin backend in Eclair-signer mode. The latest listed release remains September’s v0.14.3; operators should verify their build includes the October changes.
