San Francisco-based Mistlabs has raised $26 million in Pre-A funding to develop Ambi, its ambient intelligence platform. The round was led by Luminous Ventures, with Huaqin Technology as co-lead. The funds will be used to deploy Ambi on iPhone, Mac and Apple Watch, as well as to develop a future standalone AI wearable. The platform continuously listens in the background and captures context from conversations and tasks without waiting for explicit commands. During a private beta that ended in August 2026, the Day 7 retention rate reached 37.8%.
