Russia says a drone attack caused disruption at a data centre in eastern Moscow. The strike follows attacks on two Yandex data centres in early October 2026, including one in Sasovo (Ryazan region) housing two of the company’s three AI supercomputers. The attack on the Kaluga centre, roughly 130,000 square metres, targeted Yandex’s cloud services and AI operations, including YandexGPT. Yandex shares fell between 3.75% and 4% on the Moscow Exchange after the attacks. These strikes show that digital infrastructure is now a target in the conflict.
