XRP is currently trapped between $1.30 and $1.59, in a technical pattern repeating on a strict four-year cycle. The token has already experienced two nearly identical phases of complete market stagnation, each spanning approximately two years, from September 2018 to November 2020 and from September 2022 to November 2024. The current range is trapping both long and short positions, with open interest remaining near record highs at around $3.1 billion according to Coinglass. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is stuck at 44, signaling a complete lack of directional momentum. Without a major catalyst, a continuation of the consolidation phase appears likely through 2026.
