OpenAI told its investors that its annualized revenue reached $50 billion by the end of September, not the $70 billion previously stated. The gap is explained by the annualized revenue calculation method and by investor adjustments that had estimated OpenAI’s sales at $40 billion in August before applying the 70% growth rate. On the stock market, the Nasdaq fell by up to 1.4%, Oracle more than 5%, AMD 4.2% and Nvidia 2.7%. Nevertheless, OpenAI is seeking to raise at least $30 billion based on a valuation of approximately $1,400 billion.
