David Schwartz, co-creator of the XRP Ledger and former CTO of Ripple, will return to the main stage at Ripple Swell 2026 in New York starting October 27, in his new capacity as CTO Emeritus. He will deliver a keynote and participate in a fireside chat titled “Building What’s Next for XRPL” with Ayo Akinyele, RippleX’s head of engineering. Schwartz will address AI integration and privacy-preserving transactions at the ledger level, as XRP surged 46% in the third quarter, trading around $1.53 with a market capitalization approaching $97 billion. This year’s conference merges the Swell financial forum, the Apex engineering summit, and the UBRI Connect academic platform, with approximately 1,500 attendees expected at The Shed cultural center.
