The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) condemned on Wednesday the attacks by Houthi forces on Abha and King Khalid International airports in Saudi Arabia. GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed al-Budaiwi described the attacks as “systematic crimes” targeting civilians. Saudi Arabia’s aviation authority reported casualties and property damage. The Houthi movement claimed responsibility for the attacks, which further escalate tensions in the region and highlight the ongoing conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi forces.
