Robert Kiuru, COO at XRPL Labs and Xaman, warned users to never share their private keys, calling them the keys to their kingdom. This warning comes amid the rise of vibe-coded projects created quickly by developers whose identities and security practices are difficult to verify. Users have reported that some unverified XRPL projects were asking users to enter their private keys directly in Xaman Wallet to connect to their sites or applications. Despite these security concerns, the XRPL ecosystem is moving forward with major developments, including the Permission Delegation feature and confidential transfers powered by Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
