Stripe and Bridge aim to make their stablecoin-funded Visa cards available in over 100 countries by the end of the year. In April 2025, these cards worked in 30 countries after an initial launch in Latin America. Stripe acquired Bridge for 1.1 billion dollars, a deal finalized in February 2025, and partnered with Visa to issue these cards to business clients such as Morse, Phantom and Kraken. The crypto card market tripled in one year, rising from 403 million to 1.2 billion dollars in monthly purchases by September, according to Paymentscan. Stripe also acquired Privy, a wallet specialist, and launched Tempo, a blockchain dedicated to payments, with investment fund Paradigm in March 2026.
