BlackRock ETF clients pull $202M from Ethereum as outflow streak hits six days

Clients of BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, ticker ETHA, sold $201.89 million in ETH exposure on October 6, 2026, accounting for the entirety of the $202 million net outflows from US spot Ethereum ETFs that day. This withdrawal extends a six-day streak of redemptions across the sector. The moves coincide with Bitcoin ETFs recording inflows, suggesting portfolio reallocation rather than a broader exit from crypto markets. ETHA alone holds $13.036 billion in historical net inflows out of a sector-wide total of $13.549 billion, creating a major structural concentration risk for the entire category.
