Binary contracts pay $1 if the prediction is correct and $0 if wrong, with prices reflecting crowd-implied probabilities. The product is offered through Coinbase Financial Markets, a CFTC and NFA member, and positions can be funded with either USD or USDC. This launch follows Coinbase’s initial December 2025 rollout of Kalshi-powered prediction markets covering sports and politics, which expanded nationwide by late January 2026. The markets are not available in all US states, including Nevada.
