OKX has completed an extension of its funding round with four new investors, bringing its valuation to $25 billion. Circle, Ripple, SC Ventures (Standard Chartered’s venture capital arm) and hedge fund Qube Research & Technologies have joined the platform’s shareholder base. The exact amount of the operation has not been disclosed. These actors, who previously competed in the stablecoin and cross-border payments space, share a common goal: anchoring their products within a global distribution rail through OKX. This funding round comes as OKX and the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) notified the SEC for the launch of tokenized shares of 63 US companies, including Nvidia, Apple, SpaceX and Coca-Cola.
