Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has expanded its funding round to include Circle, Ripple, SC Ventures and Qube Research & Technologies, maintaining its valuation at $25 billion without disclosing the amount raised or the stakes acquired. This extension follows Intercontinental Exchange’s investment in March, which gave the NYSE parent company a board seat. Circle, issuer of USDC, and Ripple specialized in payments and digital infrastructure bring strategic value alongside SC Ventures and quantitative manager QRT. The capital will support long-term development of OKX’s market infrastructure and institutional ambitions, following the launch of its exchange and wallet in the United States in April 2025.
