The Zcash Foundation released four Zebra updates over a two-week period, including three 6.4.x versions and a release candidate for version 7.0.0. Zebra is the official full node implementation for the Zcash network, built in the Rust programming language. The main upcoming milestone is the mainnet launch of the NU7 upgrade, with activation tentatively scheduled for November 5, 2026. Zcash was trading at $1,376 at the time of writing, up 2.93% in the last 24 hours but down from a high of $1,696 reached on September 26.
