Reactor, a San Francisco startup specializing in real-time generative video infrastructure and world models, has closed a Series A round of 74 million dollars with the addition of Nvidia and Sapphire Ventures. Nvidia’s investment comes just days after AMD’s acquisition of World Labs for 8.2 billion dollars. Reactor’s platform allows companies to integrate world models into their products via an SDK and API, delivering over 60 frames per second with latency under 40 milliseconds. The startup, co-founded by former Apple Vision Pro technical leads, counts Hollywood studios, advertising platforms, and robotics companies among its customers, and has partnerships with AWS and research labs like Overworld.
