Lola Vision Systems aims to simplify AI model deployment on chips

Share

Lola Vision Systems, a fabless chip startup focused on defense applications, is developing the LVS-250, a modular low-power edge AI processor. The chip delivers 230 TOPS at INT8 precision while consuming under 25 watts, significantly more power-efficient than the Nvidia Orin, which requires over 60 watts for comparable performance. The LVS-250 uses a five-chiplet architecture communicating via UCIe 2.0, with integrated RF capabilities and hardware-level post-quantum cryptography. Production is planned for 2027 at GlobalFoundries on the 12LP+ process node, with ITAR-compliant supply chains. Founded in 2023 with eight to nine employees, the startup has raised between $720K and $1.09 million and was selected for TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield 200 cohort ahead of Disrupt 2026.
