OKXICE, the joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and NYSE owner Intercontinental Exchange, has notified the SEC of its intent to launch a 24/7 platform for tokenized stocks. The filing lists over 60 U.S.-listed stocks, trading against USDC, USDG or USDT on Uniswap v4 liquidity pools within the XLayer blockchain. Only wallets holding a non-transferable token, issued after identity and compliance checks, can access trading. Chipmaker Cerebras Systems has already lodged an objection with the venue. ICE and OKX formed this 50-50 joint venture in June, three months after ICE took a minority stake in OKX at a $25 billion valuation.
