Blast announced on October 2 the shutdown of its Ethereum layer-2 network due to maintenance costs exceeding generated revenue. The project, which raised $20 million from Paradigm and Standard Crypto in November 2023, set October 26 as the deadline to withdraw funds through the normal interface.
