Nvidia breaks through to new record highs. Plus, more good news for Boeing

Nvidia shares broke through their previous May record of $236.54, rising over 2.5% on Friday. Morgan Stanley reinstated the stock as its top pick in semiconductors after meetings with CEO Jensen Huang and CFO Colette Kress. Nvidia announced a $150 billion share buyback program this week. On Boeing’s side, SPEEA union members approved a four-year contract proposal, pushing shares up 3.35%. On the macroeconomic front, falling oil prices and weaker-than-expected US employment data supported Wall Street.
