Coinbase completes Deribit switch, ending International Exchange trading

Share

Coinbase completed on October 1 the migration of its International Exchange platform to Deribit, ending trading on the former infrastructure which is now read-only. Institutional clients using API or FIX connections must configure new Deribit endpoints and create new API keys, as International Exchange credentials are no longer operational. Migrated perpetual contracts now settle once daily at 08:00 UTC, replacing the previous five-minute cycle. Coinbase Bermuda Limited serves as broker, custodian and primary counterparty for these institutional clients. International Exchange trade and order history will remain accessible through legacy APIs for approximately twelve months.
