Accenture shares surged more than 22% Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange after the consulting group posted fourth-quarter fiscal results that exceeded expectations. The company reported earnings per share of $3.29 on revenue of $18.68 billion, beating estimates of $3.18 and $18.03 billion respectively. For full fiscal year 2026, adjusted EPS reached $13.97, up 8% year-on-year, with revenue of $74.2 billion, a 6% increase. Accenture also raised its quarterly dividend by 5% to $1.71 per share, payable November 13, and forecasts fiscal 2027 revenue and adjusted EPS growth between 3% and 6%. Despite Thursday’s massive gain, the stock remains down more than 18% year to date amid concerns that artificial intelligence will disrupt key business segments.
