France’s bond market is stumbling. French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecomu on Thursday presented the draft budget he will try to push through a fractured parliament. France’s budget deficit is expected to reach 5.4% of GDP this year, one of the largest in the European Union, well beyond the region’s 3% rule. Inflation stood at 3% year-on-year in September.
