Sentora’s Morpho vaults face outflows after MetaMask security incident

Share

Sentora’s Morpho vaults experienced significant outflows following MetaMask’s disclosure of a security incident tied to its staking operations on September 30, 2026. Sentora had curated over $1.1 billion across Morpho Vaults V2 as of late September 2026, making it one of the largest risk managers on the platform. The outflows coincided with the MetaMask announcement, though no technical exposure has been established between the two. Its largest vaults include PYUSD (PayPal’s stablecoin) at roughly $425 million, RLUSD (Ripple’s stablecoin) at roughly $414 million, x Spark RLUSD at roughly $250 million, and PRIME at roughly $212 million. Higher withdrawal volumes can push up utilization rates, which typically raises borrowing costs and can make it harder for remaining depositors to withdraw instantly.
