Petrobras, Brazil’s state-controlled energy giant, is testing Cardano blockchain to track sustainable aviation fuel environmental benefits and prevent double-counting. A parallel project for Diesel R proposes checkpoints across production, transportation and use to support supply-chain emissions reporting. Commercial usage remains unquantified in current disclosures.
