Scammers are now spoofing phone numbers from the Paris judicial court to target French cryptocurrency holders. They possess precise personal data on their victims, including full name, email address, and postal address. The technique used, called spoofing, allows them to display any phone number during the call. In France, the number of kidnappings and sequestrations targeting cryptocurrency holders is estimated at three per week since the beginning of the year.
