Binance Pay has announced a partnership with TBCASoft and its HIVEX network to enable eligible users to spend USDT at millions of PayPay merchants in Japan. Transactions are automatically converted to Japanese yen at the point of sale through a QR code system. Approximately 48 million overseas Binance Pay users are targeted for this rollout planned for Q3 2026. Binance Pay handles user-side regulatory obligations, while HIVEX and its local partners manage merchant compliance. The integration builds on fiat deposit and withdrawal services already available in Japan since 2025, representing a significant step toward mainstream stablecoin adoption in the country.
