Robinhood plans to offer weekend equities trading on Saturdays and Sundays for a curated selection of US stocks and ETFs. Orders will be routed through Bruce ATS, an alternative trading system operated by Bruce Markets, of which Robinhood and PEAK6 Investments are majority owners. The feature still requires regulatory approval and could launch soon or early next year. This initiative complements the 24 Hour Market launched in 2023, effectively creating near-continuous seven-day trading for participating securities. Approximately 25% of daily volume on Robinhood’s 24 Hour Market already comes from outside conventional market hours.
