The OpenClaw Foundation launched OpenClaw Enterprise on September 29, a free open-source control plane designed for managing persistent AI agents in multi-user enterprise environments. The platform adds multi-tenancy, auditability, governance controls, and security boundaries to the existing OpenClaw framework, transforming what started as a personal tool into an enterprise-deployable solution. The project, originally developed internally at OpenAI by Peter Steinberger before being donated to the OpenClaw Foundation, has attracted backing from Red Hat and NVIDIA, with pilot programs already running at both companies. The platform is model-agnostic and can be deployed via docker-compose or Kubernetes, with no paid tiers or hosted services.
