Robinhood announced on July 1 the expansion of its perpetual futures offerings in Europe to include traditional assets. Eligible European customers can now trade perps on gold, crude oil, popular ETFs like QQQ and EWY, and currency pairs including EUR/USD. All instruments are available with up to 10x leverage and 24/7 trading access. This expansion complements the platform’s existing crypto offering, which already included perps on Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies with up to 7x leverage. This move is part of a broader international strategy, with Robinhood seeking to develop its services in the UK, Canada and Singapore.
