This performance is attributed to the SIMD-0286 upgrade implemented on July 29, which increased the maximum compute limit per block by 66%. On August 10, daily non-vote transactions reached 171.9 million. For the month of August, the total hit 5.2 billion non-vote transactions, surpassing the combined totals of all other major Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain networks. Validator fee revenue simultaneously jumped by over 80% over three months, reaching approximately 9,200 SOL per day by late August.
