Hyderabad-based startup TakeMe2Space is preparing to launch India’s first orbital computing satellite, MOI-1A, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on October 1, 2026. This 6U CubeSat weighs under 50 kilograms and carries Nvidia Orin NX processors capable of 117 trillion operations per second, along with a 9-band multispectral imager and 2 terabytes of onboard storage. Funded by approximately $5 to $5.6 million in seed capital, the company has already secured 23 customers across geographic information systems, agriculture, mining, and insurance sectors. The original MOI-1 satellite was lost in January 2026 following the PSLV-C62 launch failure by ISRO.
