Users can create approximately six AI video clips or avatars per month at no cost, following the April 2026 update that introduced 10 free generations. Previously limited to Google Workspace subscribers, the tool is now accessible at vids.new on desktop browsers. All generated content includes a SynthID watermark to flag AI-generated material. An upcoming feature powered by Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite is expected to add multilingual voiceover capabilities in over 100 languages.
