Coinbase launches IPO access for US retail investors, starting with Oura

Coinbase announced on September 21 that eligible US retail investors can now request allocations in upcoming IPOs through its Coinbase Capital Markets platform. Finnish health technology company Oura, known for its health-tracking smart rings, plans to offer 50 million shares at a price range of $40 to $44 each, potentially raising up to $2.2 billion and valuing the company at around $14 billion. Oura reported revenue of $1.21 billion for the nine months ending June 30, 2026, representing 74% year-over-year growth, with approximately 5 million paid members. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are leading the underwriting syndicate, with Robinhood Securities notably participating as an underwriter for the first time.
