Hossein Mohabbi, spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), announced on Monday that most US military bases surrounding Iran have been rendered inoperative due to Iranian missile and drone strikes. These attacks have forced the United States to relocate personnel and equipment to more distant bases, notably Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Mohabbi warned, however, that these new sites also remain vulnerable to Iranian strikes. Markets are now pricing a 28% probability of a full closure of Iranian airspace by December 31, reflecting heightened military tensions in the region.
