Lido has completed the wind-down of the regular clusters in its Simple DVT Module, closing another chapter in its validator decentralization strategy. A DAO vote earlier this year approved the decision with approximately 57.4 million LDO in support and no votes against. The first tranche of transition grants, amounting to 0.175 stETH per eligible participant, has been distributed to qualifying node operators. This wind-down does not mean Lido is abandoning distributed validator technology; rather, the infrastructure is evolving toward more mature implementations. For stETH holders, no action is required as the change operates at a deeper level of the architecture.
