Vantora raises $100M to build physical AI startups inside industrial giants

Share

Vantora, formerly UP.Labs, has raised over $100 million from Silversmith Capital Partners, its first external investment since its founding in 2022. After four years without external funding, the company launched 17 AI-native ventures for industrial partners including Porsche, Alaska Airlines, J.B. Hunt, and Wabash, posting 79% year-over-year revenue growth. Vantora embeds itself within large industrial companies to identify operational pain points and builds dedicated AI ventures to solve them, with intellectual property eventually transferred to corporate partners. The $100 million will be used to deepen existing partnerships, develop a proprietary data ontology product, and hire AI engineers and commercial staff. Vantora is targeting 20 ventures by the end of 2026 across manufacturing, logistics, aviation, and automotive sectors.
